<br><br><br><br><br><b><font color="#000066">Change Detection Research Interests</font></b><br><font size=-1>My research interests in change detection focus on properties of visual short term memory (VSTM) and attentional selection.  In collaboration with Yuhong Jiang and Daeyeol Lee, we've examined three questions: 1) What is the unit of storage? 2) How is VSTM organized? 3) What is the relation between selective attention and VSTM maintenance? In a related line of work, my lab studies how long-term visual experience influences perception. </font>
