Change Detection Research Interests
Our research project focuses on the neural substrates underlying controlled attention, including change detection. We are investigating patterns of brain activation using fMRI during performance of a change- detection flicker task. Our goals are to understand the relations between subjects' phenomenal experience during these tasks and the resulting activation across brain areas, including both posterior object- and spatial-processing areas and prefrontal cortex.
