Change Detection Research Interests
Although change perception requires a stable representation, the failure to consciously perceive a visible stimulus does not necessarily imply the absence of deep processing and encoding. My primary interest in change detection is to determine if even in the face of change blindness, observers represent the changed information. I am also interested in exploring what the visual system does differently when changes are detected.

Other Research Interests
The attentional blink, visual masking, iconic images, motion after effects, bistable figure perception, visual capture, visual neglect and the other visual agnosias.
